breaking up is so hard to do
happens everyday
people get married and people get divorced
divorce is tough
it's not just the break-up of the family or the child support
it's having to go out and date again
lots of people fall under the marriage delusion
they have an illusion that marriage is just great
there's a big problem out there today
it's the problem of 'the nelsons and the bundys'
i grew up with ozzie and harriett
so my thoughts about marriage and family are a certain way
today's generation grew up with
al and peg and bud and kelly
and their older brother they don't like to talk about, ted
the bundys taught this generation a lot about marriage and family
much in the same way snoop taught 'em how to grab their crouch
i've found that marriage is not a word
...it's a sentence
my friend likes to say that marriage is a great institution
he's just not ready for an institution
by the way
the proper term for the divorce is
the dissolution of marriage
that just proves that marriage is not the solution
