it's run was made of eleven seasons full of fun, laughter,
and of course, plenty of the fonz...
at a time when even the other comedies on the networks
were filled with plot lines about racism and social justice
and civil rights for people's lifestyle choices
happy days was a breather from this brave new world

one of the most popular ever was the fonz
remember... if you don't know who he is
you have either been living under a rock, or in iraq
or you were born in the 90's or later
most people will agree that 'the fonz' was, and still is
one of the most influential, and the certainly
the coolest television characters of all time
fonzie's friendship with richie played a huge role in the show
they became friends when richie wouldn't back down
from a fight he knew he'd lose, but stood-up to him
which is the lesson here, we should begin to find
the many ways that bring on more & more happy days
the first way is that it's time to stop trying so hard
