we kinda knew it all along
the republican party always chooses the candidate
that is next in line, whom evers turn it is
it's worked like that for years
and so, it really hasn't worked at all... ('cept for W)
in all actuality, rick santorum never had a chance
no matter how many tea parties he went to
or that he is really the new republican progressive
virtually no other candidate began with less of a shot
he was a social conservative in a race expected
to center on the economy - he wasn't in the center
he was famous for his hard-edged brand of conservatism
especially on homosexuality - he wasn't centered
he was so discounted that he struggled to get the attention
of debate moderators - because he wasn't in the center
- they always placed him far, far stage left - 'member...
santorum’s decision to suspend his campaign was a
concession to the reality that romney, is in the center
didya know that romney spelled another way is r money
but in fact ol' mitt is in the center - the middle of it all
- he can go either way on any issue
santorum risked losing much of the cachet he had built up
by staying in the race too long and becoming a spoiler
so rick will go back and take care of his big family
and his sick little girl and plan what's next
- just watch, he will be the center of attention in tampa bay
at the republican national convention/coronation
because the GOP's eventual nominee will be way too busy
changing his mind
