if you think that ron white is just a fat old drunk fart
then you ought to see the people at his show
white played the show at agua caliente casino last night
with his trademark cigar and glass of scotch
it seemed he needed neither prop for the show
he was already lit when he stumbled to the mic
and his voice is so far gone, raspy and raw
- any more cigars would seem unnecessary
like it is with mostly all of today's top comedians
white spoke mostly of his dick and his love of it
and how to keep nice with his wife, because
'after all, it doesn't suck it self'
he did a bit about the argument he had with his wife
- she said that 'sex is sex' and he said that oral sex is
much different than intercourse, she said 'that they are
the same' he said 'they don't cost the same'
i try not to be crude and rude here, but when it's time
to talk about the state of comedy nowadays
i gotta give some examples, don't i...
i learned long ago that dick jokes were for high school boys
and that seems what these comedians are
i'm well aware that this kinda humor is sexy and edgy
and so, very well suited for the demo that shows up
but ron's got balls too, he told stories about his jet
- the one he says we bought him - 'thanks for coming out'
the balls is charging $60 for the nosebleed inducing balcony
the floor tickets went for well over $100, and the place was
only about 80% full (some people like dick jokes...)
they've been pumping this tour for months - with that result
on the other hand, gabriel iglesias sold out that venue
on back to back nights with hardly any promotion
he doesn't tell dick jokes
