it went on for four and a half days
one after another, comic after comic
taking the stage at the laugh factory in hollywood
breaking the world's record for the longest non-stop comedy show
- and it was all to help santa bring more toys - to more girls & boys
jamie masada, the founder of the club
has long been known for his reaching out to the community
he brings hope and food and toys to the people who need it most
and he does it with a laugh and a smile
- and the help of his famous comedian friends
this week's marathon raised thousands of dollars and a ton of toys
for sick kids with cancer in the LA area
closing off the event was comedian and actor, tim allen
the tooltime master dropped more bombs than a B-52 in hanoi
not bad jokes, just bad language (-that's what they do at comedy clubs)
as far as the humor - same stuff - dick jokes, fart jokes & jokes about god
however
allen is so very funny, so professional, such a great stand-up
with his smooth, non-stop, bang-bang-bang style,
- he had the crowd roaring and chocking, coughing and spitting-up
he reminded us that he is a celebrity and a movie star (a couple of times)
and that always helps an audience wanna laugh

- it lasted a long time - it was for a good cause - it brought the kids a smile
and - it was record-breaking
