in bulgaria, anti-roma incidents are breaking out everywhere
they call the gypsies, roma, sounds more italian
there are about 12M gypsies in central europe
they are the most hated group around, 'cept for rappers
roma often live in depressed squatter communities
with very high unemployment, like rappers
they just don't seem to want to fully integrate into society
just like the illegals and the rappers
they usually work as coppersmiths, not a wise move
they live in isolated, ghetto-like settlements
in the evening, the men come around and lay their money down
many former eastern bloc countries have substantial
populations of roma and they hate 'em
they breed like flies in countries like the slovak republic,
hungary, serbia, romania, macedonia, but they're really big
- big in bulgaria, and they cause big trouble there
many governments have tried to have them be more
accepted, more inclusive into the local society
in hungary they tried, 'buy a gypsy lunch day'
in romania, there was 'we'll leave, and you stay here day'
and in macedonia, they tried, 'take a gypsy to work day'
none of these measures worked
the gypsies are there to stay
i'm sure glad they are there and not here in the US
can you imagine, huge settlements of foreigners
not wanting to integrate into society
living illegally, in ghetto-like conditions
here in america
