what a wonderful time of the year
sugar plums dancing, and all that
and just regular folks waiting for time off work
matter of fact, most americans will not do
a lick of work for the next couple of weeks
it's all about eating and drinking and football
and cooking and shopping, choose your poison ladies
BUT, in the freckin' meantime,
there are thousands of courageous souls out there
braving the elements and police batons
fighting the man and the effects of pepper spray
trying to make a better life for themselves
and you
my advice is, do what i do
'occupy your space'
- stage a 'sit-down strike' in your own living room
call domino's and that liquor store that delivers
turn off the news and turn on the comedy channel
shop, eat, drink, watch football and
don't pretend that everything's OK
sit back and relax
and know everything's OK
