I'LL TAKE IT FROM HERE

it's crystal clear why billy was back

this guy was as sharp as he was when he delivered papers

a true pro, with no axes to grind - just razor sharp

and a snappy dresser too

here are some of the best one-liners from his ninth try

referring to the kodak theater as 'the chapter 11 theater'

'next year, this place will be called the flomax theater'

'nothing can take the sting out of world economic problems

like watching millionaires present each other with

golden statues'

'when I came out of the movie the help, I wanted to hug

the first black woman I saw, which from beverly hills

is about a 45 minute drive'

'we've got puppets and acrobats, we're a pony away from

being a bar mitzvah'

when introducing presenter christain bale, billy said

'a dark knight, an american psycho, a charismatic crack

addict… you'll get to choose one on super tuesday'

when reacting to the new score for the oscars

written by hans zimmer, shrugging his shoulders billy said

'eeehh, that's why they have a buffet'

and his favorite line of the night was telling us that

'the harry potter movies have made 7.7 billion dollars

worldwide, and yet, only paid 14% in taxes'

and my favorite... in referring to the tom hanks movie

'extremely loud and incredibly close...

- that's how my relatives are watching this show'

the funniest part of the evening however is that

a movie about an artist, that had no dialogue

- had the last word
