california burger chain slater's 50/50 is no longer...
- no longer just 50/50, no mama they've gone all the way
they may be bringing home the bacon, now that its menu
features a burger made of 100
percent ground bacon
not to over embellish, but the fourth of july inspired
merica burger comes topped with a slice of thick-cut
bacon, bacon island
dressing, and bacon flavored cheese
AND, say it again... 100 percent ground bacon
the only nonbacon topping is an impressive

sunny-side-up egg, but eggs come from chickens
and chickens are good friends with bacon, so, makes sense
slater's 50/50 has already made a name for itself
by offering its flagship burger made of half ground beef
and half ground bacon, tried it - needed more bacon
sadly, slater's only has 3 stores & the three slater's stores
will only be offering the all-bacon burger through the
end of july - which happens to be national stroke month
- is my smile crooked...
this month-long feature comes on the heels of previous
burgers-of-the-month, including a pulled pork burger
a chili cheese frito burger and i can't believe it's not bacon
and if 100% bacon burger isn't enough for you
slater's 50/50 offers several other bacon-themed novelties
including a bacon brownie and the bacon mary and get this
cuz' i got one... a bacon milkshake, which was a maple
flavored vanilla shake with bacon bits added + a bacon strip
the maple and carmel flavored milkshake was developed
aboard the queen mary in long beach in 1997
it was invented by me
i wasn't smart enough to think to add bacon to it
if i had, that really woulda been kingdom come
