it's election time
battle lines are being drawn
since we have to take sides...
i'm sure not gonna put my money on orange juice
i'm betting on the hard stuff
who's gonna beat the president of the united states...
certainly not a rich nor-easterner - mid westerner
that wears blue jeans and sports shirts from costco
i would like my president to be rich and successful
but that's not politically correct
no, this election is just like the president himself
this election is black and white
and if i have a chance, that is if i voted at all
i'd say... let the party continue
just look at the headlines, happy days are here again
we're just getting warmed-up
i was raised on other people's money and good credit
and even while being downsized to a AA rating
- this country can still print all the money we need
it's like making your own beer in your backyard
- smile, you've got everything you need
the sun, the yard, the beer
join the cocktail party
stop worrying and relax
because, not matter who you support
or who gets elected
your life is still gonna suck
