vegas, the TV show has been cancelled
of course, it's no surprise, but what a shame
this was a good show, in a recent run-off of favorites
this was the one show people wanted to continue
but insiders say there are 4 words: the jason o’mara curse
remember life on mars, I liked that show - he's in it - gone
i just don't believe it
this was a nice period piece show about early las vegas
and o'mara is a good actor, really good
i’m starting to think that scripted television as a whole
has become some kind of highbrow event
seems most people don't want a good storyline
they wanna see people get beat-up by big rubber hammers
or judges
- i hate judges - what do they know anyway
americans just gobble up reality television crap
and don’t appreciate thoughtfully scripted shows
TV is inundated with a lot of garbage from stupid
reality shows and situation comedies to the simpsons
i blame this whole thing on the current group of young
comedians - which are the writers in most cases
these guys tell dick jokes and cuss like marines
but the reason that quality dies and cheap crap lives is
that there is a huge difference between a big budget show
with an enormous audience
and a low budget show with an enormous audience
money
vegas was one show that simply didn't make enough
money to be worth the cost of its production
