the defense of marriage act enacted in september 1996
allowed states to refuse to recognize same-sex marriages
until a portion was ruled unconstitutional wednesday
the supreme court ruled that parts of the act are now
effectively unconstitutional
which invalidates and makes the constitution itself gay
after all, it was written by men in powdered wigs and tights
in philadelphia - the city of brotherly love
scrolled on aged parchment paper in flaming calligraphy
it looks like an invitation to a gay wedding in the1st place
the act restricted federal marriage benefits to gay couples
and section 3 of DOMA codified the non-recognition of
same sex marriages for all federal purposes
including insurance benefits for government employees
social security survivors’ benefits, immigration status
and the filing of joint tax returns
all which seems quite normal and understandable
so what changed wednesday that now leaves traditional
marriages having to defend themselves without any help
what this action hasn't effected is the greatest benefit
of all for a legally recognized union
the benefit that no one talks about... it's sex
there's no defense against same-sex-sex because there's
no such thing as same-sex-sex... no, it's just really
a bunch of sick sexual uses for a man's johnson
or a women's strapped-on johnson, it's not sex
so the part about equal protection under the law just seems
to be yet another way of defrauding the government
out of taxpayer's money
