- yes it's been almost 40 years ago...
jack nicholson was thrown into a mental facility full of crazies
the movie started america buzzing and after a while
the country was talking about the question 'what is crazy'
and how our institutions were dealing with the problem of mental health
the care and treatment of the mentally ill is still barbaric
today, not much has changed - mainly because it's a business
but just think how things were 40 years ago
naturally most of you weren't even around then
but you've seen those old tv shows from the seventies
- that was the reality back then but now, reality is so real
it's really scary
this coming week we will be having rioting and looting
and - god forbid - more shooting - there's enough guns
all because one group of people aren't happy with
a jury's decision in a murder trial somewhere in the south
too much media and too many media types throwing
gasoline on an already hot summer's day
there's nothing funny about it
we here in america are as bad as those tribal people
in the middle east - still fighting each other because
they're not the same
that's crazy
