tonto's new movie is a loco locomotive train wreck of a movie
kemosabe means trusted scout, which is backwards
because tonto is the scout and the ranger is the star
but even the great spirit horse silver and the too cool finale
with the rousing music of the william tell overture
couldn't save this disney knock-off from the dusty trail
disney spent in excess of $200 million to make this turkey
and now they are eating crow
- the lone ranger is not doing so well at the box office
in the beginning, you can go ahead and blame the press
for the reeling reviews and saying such things like
how just plain silly this over-bloated film really is...
too violent and bloody at times, too amateurish at other times
sometimes, the two stars bantered like abbott and costello
it seemed like a bad stand-up comedy act with the
masked one - the lone ranger playing the straight man
the running joke throughout the movie is the question:
'what's with the mask'
every body's a comedian - now even tonto
his crow hat was funny looking indeed
the media has had such a fixation of the possibility of trouble
behind the scenes and terrible friction on the set
and the high production budget is also a recurring topic
but with the bank-ability of johnny depp, and all the money
disney went ahead and gave it a shot - with a silver bullet
they changed everything, told a new and convoluted tale
and nothing went well at all
in the end it seems that the masked man has just lost it
and now disney executives are thinking whoa silver
just like tonto said at the end of the movie
'don't ever do that again'
