they must think that kansas city chiefs fans are really dumb
or something
mcdonald's is testing a family-sized meal value package
the burger giant has been losing its mcnugguets with its
dollar-a-burger menu, so they're trying something a
little more expensive
they call this pro football value deal the blitz box
it sounds like a poorly executed defensive plan of attack
the boxed deal contains two quarter pounders with cheese
plus two medium french fries, and 20 chicken mcnuggets
the real joke is that they think this is family size
- it's hardly enough food for me to make it to halftime
many other fast food companies have been marketing
to the watch tv at home football crowd for some time
but mcdonald's has been slow to try the ploy
they have also been testing other more expensive values
the problem is that if these items were ordered separately
they'd end-up being not such a value after all
if the real burger king wanted to really grab the attention
of the guys sitting home drinking beer during the game
they'd offer the really happy meal, the one that they've
tested at some other asian outlets like the ones in thailand
that's a real happy meal, one with football fans in mind
- it comes with a happy ending
