THE PINK STARS AREN'T FALLING

there's this weird show on CBS that has become a big hit

for weeks viewers have been glued to their sets watching

the various high jinks the good folks from chester's mill

the network has renewed the summer drama about a town

encapsulated by a mysterious dome for a second season

the drama will return with another batch of episodes

- next summer

well that sucks, how can i wait until next summer...

this is the problem with not being the head of network programming

the show is an adaptation of stephen king's best-seller

- i'm still not gunna read the book

which i hear didn't go as far in the story as the TV show has

well, just tell me how the book ends

- i'm sure the show will end the same way

and i don't have to wait until next summer

the real problem here is that the show is produced by

steven spielberg's amblin entertainment and dreamworks television

- those guys love to screw with our heads

hell, this thing could go on forever

'we're excited to tell more stories about the mystery of the

dome and the secrets in chester's mill

and are thrilled to have the master storyteller himself

tell the first one of next season'

CBS entertainment president nina tassler said

this kind of programming makes reality TV look good

and that makes me ill
