they live alone and are alone
all fun and games and me, me, me...
no, this is causing some real unwanted problems
medical pros see it as a major contributor to high blood pressure,
heart disease, stoke and depression (why you crying)
in the 50s 1 in 10 households had just one person
and now a third, seems impossible,
just a hundred years ago, this would have been unthinkable
to show how predominate this has become
some are predicting that our new century
will be dubbed the lonely century, the 'me' generationS
what’s changed… well among others things, women
they don’t ‘need’ to get or stay married any longer
and so divorce is rampant
and couples and families and partnerships are splitting like
lindsey lohan from a no-host bar,
people think they don’t have to be uncomfortable, anywhere,
so they leave and live alone and are alone
marriage… that doesn’t work anymore
40% of first, 60% of second and over 75% of third marriages fail
it would seem that divorce lawyers aren’t lonely
marriage is being destroyed and along with it, so is the family
and without family, there’s no relatives and with no relatives
there’d be no aunts and uncles
and if aunt marge had balls – she’d be uncle frank
