this is probably one of the oldest known inhabited areas
anywhere on the planet, fossil remains of humans
have been found dating back over two million years
tanzania is associated with one of the most
important technological achievements in human history
the production of steel
these east african peoples were forging carbon into steel
a thousand years before the europeans
ok, enough of the history lesson... did ya notice,
no body's at the pool, that's because it's hot, really hot
they may have learned to forge steel
but they haven't learned to freeze water
there is not an ice cube for 100s of miles, everything is hot
visitors are so surprised at how miserable this place is
but they'll never tell you...
you think traveling 1000s of miles and spending
1000s of dollars they, even close friends,
are gonna admit that they have made a grave mistake
nope
'oh the animals were sooo beautiful' - they'll say ...BS!
the animals were all asleep, they are up during the night
trying to get in the hotel and eat everybody...
they spent their vacation mainly running from wild animals
the next time somebody says they want to go on safari
and totally escape civilization
- go to their house late at night
turn off their water and cut their telephone & electricity
and while you're there
throw in a rhino
