people always ask what makes you think
you're a comedian, and why are you a comedian...
well, before i became a comic
i used to just sit around all day drinking beer and
eating pork rinds and i felt like such a bum
but now... i'm preparing for my next show
before... all day, day in day out, i just watched television
i was feeling so bad and like a couch potato
but now... i'm doing research
and every night, i'd go to dingy bars, drink all night
and tell stupid jokes to the people at the bar
i'm doing all this for just the same reason a farmer does
you ask a poultry farmer why he does what he does
he'll give you the right answer
- 'for the chicks...'
