it's that time again
that time, every four years where the world's top
amateur athletes compete for the gold
the gold medal hasn't been gold for the last 6 olympics
yet these poor kids train and sacrifice for years
just to get the outside chance that they can compete
it's the world stage in front of billions of spectators
sometimes they thrill to the thrill of victory
and sometimes, it's the agony of their feet
and then sometimes there's the times when they just
lose it
all our best to the competing athletes in the games
but here's a bit of advice
- don't fill up on sweet creamed corn beforehand
