COLD WAR. HOT WATER.

olympic champion michael phelps could be part of an

international conspiracy that would rock the sports world

you see here, he is politely having tea with

former russian gymnast larisa latynina

that's the woman whose record for the most

olympic medals phelps broke in the london games

photos of phelps promoting a vuitton duffel bag were taken

then they were leaked on the internet late last week

well, well, well, that violates the IOC's controversial Rule 40

which states 'athletes can not promote any non-olympic

sponsor's products from july 18 to august 15'

and louis vuitton is not an olympic sponsor

punishments for the breaking of this rule range from

fines to a stripping of all the medals he won at the games

that would give the russian the world record once again

- very interesting...

oh, those ruskies, what they won't do

the advertising campaign was set to begin on august 16

oops, you know the internet, someone's gonna leak that stuff

so was it the russians who wanted the title back

was it the IOC because of the way phelps treated them

or was it actually mcdonald's whom was snubbed by phelps

and would have been eligible to use the swimmer in its

mcnugget commercials

all we know is without his gold from london

michael phelps mcnuggets aren't going to be worth much
