in the 20th century, india's mahatma gandhi famously
used the hunger strike as political protest, the mahatma
knew how to gain public support and get great press
but that was so last century
today, you wanna make some noise, just say something
that's not politically correct and especially anti-homosexual
and in america today we demonstrate not by not eating
no, that'd be unamerican, now when you wanna bitch about
something... maybe something somebody said that is
anti-homosexual, much less anti-transsexual or worse
- the worst you can be, anti-transgender
... you do it by eating something, mainly fast food
call it an 'eat-in' or call it a 'buycott' - just... let's eat
but please don't boycott, it's really bad for the economy
and boycott sounds gay anyway...
- 'say sailor, how'd you like to get your boys caught?'
of course we're talking about the chick-fil-a spectacle
i like this
this is a form of protest americans can really
sink their teeth in to
and something that the gay community can really get behind
i mean come on
if i'm mad at something someone said
and i can storm a dairy queen and eat hot fudge...
this seems like a great way to make my point
this is our 350th blog - some of 'em have even been funny... thanks for your support
